IRWMP
In May 2006 an Integrated Regional Water Management Plan for the American River Basin was adopted. The plan will help ensure a sustainable regional water supply while providing other environmental and recreational benefits.

Strategic Plan
In July 2009, RWA adopted a Strategic Plan to guide the organization over the next five years.
